Malcolm Ritzer Memorial Scholarship

Malcolm was a history teacher and coach at Clackamas High School for twenty-seven years. This scholarship is intended for a graduating CHS senior with a 2.5 GPA or higher, who wants to attend community college, a four-year college or university or technical school and demonstrates financial need.

Malcolm loved his years teaching and mentoring his students. Compassion, kindness, empathy and willingness to go above and beyond to help others not as fortunate are qualities Malcolm admired most in his students. This scholarship is aimed at students who have struggled early in their high school experience but showed growth and a desire to pursue higher education.
